Stupid, Stupid People

I don't know what it is that makes people so incredibly senseless at concerts. I can understand being excited and maybe even moved by the performance. What I witnessed at the Jack Johnson concert last night was not acceptable public or human behavior.

Rocking out like a retard on crack is only permitted in the privacy of your own house when no one else is around. There were some people that redefined what it means to not have rhythm; I can't express how challenged some of these people were. In most cases, I don't think these extreme rockers even needed the band to be there; the concert and songs seemed to be more about them than anything else — if true, I wouldn't pay so much for a ticket.

Masses of people, beer and bathrooms. It's a fact that beer moves from your mouth directly to your bladder. It is also a fact that there are never enough bathrooms at public events. Combine these two together and you will be standing in line more than enjoying the concert. My advice... drink the beer at home while listening to the CD.

Equality. I'm a full supporter of women's rights... until the women are standing in the men's line for the bathroom. Women should be arrested for being in the men's bathroom just as a man would for being in the women's. There were four women between me and a urinal... stay on your own side, ladies.

Don't come to a concert to talk; save the chatter for the coffee shop. It doesn't make much sense to come to a ultra loud place to have a deep conversation for $60 each... when a latte is only $4, right?

Why do guys think that they are going to score during the concert? I don't that any woman will have sex with you in front of 50,000 people — it doesn't matter how much beer you pour into her. In fact, I suspect that the beer reduces your odds of a post-concert score.

I hate to say it, but I must... if you were at this concert, the odds are high that I hate you and wish bad things upon you.
