Retirement
Yesterday, I filled another notebook; today, I am starting a new one.
Quite randomly, I've decided to name my notebooks as one would with cars, etc. I noticed that while I do date my notebooks the range of time captured in each is drastically varied. I had some hope that my degree of busy-ness or productiveness had something to do with how quickly I filled the pages — seems that has nothing to do with it at all. There seems to be little connection to anything.
I do keep my notebooks, and I highly suggest that people do the same. It is a great reference. The key to a successful notebook system is not removing pages and dating everything. Don't believe me? Try it for a year and you will see.

I used to write journals/notebooks... until I started writing on LJ.
But when I had a journal, it also had a name. Like I was writing to a real person. I don't know if I'd ever write on LJ if I used a journal, though....
