Music To My...
Nothing. I am sitting here in silence with no music. This happens too often. It is no wonder that I am tired and bored. I used to listen to music all day and most of the night. Now, I don't... and this is something to be corrected.

I hope that one day, I will bee the proud owner of a vineyard or two. Maybe many years from now.
Some days, I get a little frustrated with not being able to find that one website that I know is out there. Is the internet getting too big, or are the tools for using it not good enough?
To whom it may concern, can you please fix the internet?
Quite frankly, I don't care if the earth is flat or round; and I am not sure why anyone else cared either.
... have smiled upon my household. Their messenger, DZ, has delivered to unto us a beautiful wooden box filled with the gods finest cigars. We are truly grateful, and shall enjoy the gift that has been given to us. Ohm.
No, my vertigo is not back. My good friend DZ is coming to visit for the weekend. I am prepared to smoke a few cigars, drink a few bottles of wine, and have some good conversation.
I don't even know where the time has gone. I blinked and I was here.
Merc has a new computer. I am jumping from 566MHz to 2.6GHz. At roughly 5 times the speed, what trouble can I create now?
Ong and I have been cleaning like mad to prepare for Manda moving in and all the guests that we will be having next week.
While cleaning, I have notice that it is just amazing how much junk that I keep. Needless to say, I took many, many trips to the dumpster. In the end, we made a good dent in the amount of stuff, but I am sure that I could go through it again and get rid of just as much.
Went to see Van Heilsing today; it is a pretty good flick. Some of the writing was comically bad, but it was very entertaining. I would suggest getting it on video. There is no need to see this one on the big screen, but I would definitely check it out.
One day while Ong, Manda, and I were out eating; I decided to pick a new place for all my friends to go, hang out, eat, and drink. I was flipping through the OC Weekly... and there is was, Wingnuts. There was a micro-article boasting about having 30 flavors of wings and costing less than ten bucks a plate.
So tonight, we tried it - me and my twelve friends. I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. My random selection was a success, and plans to revisit Wingnuts are already in motion.
My boss just got back from being stuck in Bali. Apparently, the world doesn't like people that travel on a passport from Brazil.
I can think of worse place to be stuck.
Ever get a song stuck in your head?
We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are widening the corridors
And adding more lanes
We are building a religion
A limited edition
We are now accepting callers
for the pendant key chains
To resist it is useless
It is useless to resist it
His cigarette is burning
But he never seems to ash
He is grooming his poodle
He is living comfort eagle
You can meet at his location
But you better come with cash
Now his hat is on backwards
He can show you his tatoos
He is in the music business
He is calling you "DUDE!"
Now today is tomorrow
And tomorrow today
And yesterday is weaving in and out
And the fluffy white lines
That the airplane leaves behind
Are drifting right in front
of the waining of the moon
He is handling the money
He's serving the food
He knows about your party
He is calling you "dude!"
Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime
Doesn't matter if you're skinny
Doesn't matter if you're fat
You can dress up like a sultan
In your onion head hat
We are building a religion
We are making a brand
We're the only ones to turn to
When your castles turn to sand
Take a bite of this apple
Mr. corporate events
Take a walk through the jungle
Of cardboard shanties and tents
Some people drink Pepsi
Some people drink Coke
The wacky morning DJ
Says domocracy's a joke
He says now do you believe
In the one big song
He's now accepting callers
Who would like to sing along
She says, do you believe
In the one true edge
By fastening your safety belts
And stepping towards the ledge
He is handling the money
He is serving the food
He is now accepting callers
He is calling me "dude!"
Now do you believe
In the one big sign
The doublewide shine
On the bootheels of your prime
There's no need to ask directions
If you ever lose your mind
We're behind you
We're behind you
And let us please remind you
We can send a car to find you
If you ever lose your way
We are building a religion
We are building it bigger
We are building
A religion
A limited
Edition
We are now accepting callers...
For these beautiful...

Every once in a while, you understand something; and it makes you think. It is as harsh as a baseball bat to the side of the head; and while it may hurt, you enjoy it. The oddness of being human; makes you wanna be a dog, right?
Today is looking like a nice contrast to the warm Arizona weather that I experienced over the weekend. Nothing like a hazing day.
The first thing that I had to do when coming back to California was hit the beach. Ong and I drove straight from to airport to Corona Del Mar for a quick walk on the beach. Arizona is great; it just needs an ocean.
Huge thanks to Jeannette, Debbie and Donnie for a wonderful graduation party for my aunt. It was just beautiful.
I am so proud of my aunt for graduating. She has been an inspiration to me just for attempting; and now that she is has accomplished her goal, I am even more inspired.
I am posting from Arizona, my home state. And yes, it is nice and warm. Just in case you were wondering.
I worked the first part of the day from home, and I must say that I liked it. I am going to have to try working from home more often. I honestly think that I get more done in less time, which means... I can either do more, or I can go play earlier. Both are good selling points. Now, can I get work to buy into it?
Today is my last day in the office for this week. I am going to be taking a few days off... and hopefully, I will get a little rest.
There is a lot happening around the office; and I just dread how much work needs to get done today. It is going to be a long, long day.
Tonight, Ong and I went to PF Chang's at Fashion island. We got a window seat from which we could see the ocean. It was a great view with great food; could not have been much better.
I just know that it is going to be a super crazy week. There is so much that needs to be done and not nearly enough time to do it in. Bleh.
I got in quite a bit of reading in about VBScript. I am discovering that there are a lot of nifty things that can be done with script.
I also read an article about the new version of Windows that is due to come out in 2005. It seem like it is going to be as large of a change as Windows 3.1 to Windows 95.
I think the drive to Tulare gets longer every time that I make it. When I used to live up there, I always felt like the drive to Orange County was short every time that I made the trip. I guess that is a sign of where home is.
Why can't it be Friday already? Some weeks are just a little too long. I am looking forward to a little rest, a little relaxation, and a little no-work.
Just on the way back from lunch, I counted 37 BMWs. This was about a 4 mile trip and I did not pass a dealership. There is too much money in Irvine; too much wasted money.
Technology is growing; and I am falling behind. I just don't care to take the time to keep up. It is not that I care or enjoy it less. I am just finding out that chasing technology is not as fun as having a life.
The sun does exist, and I enjoy spending some time in it.
Also know as too hot. Orange County might as well be on fire again.
Starting to put things together for launching Lounge Punk. I should be ready to start printing shirts in about 3 weeks. It would be sooner, but I have a lot of other things happening in my life.
My web server project is coming along nicely. Thanks to the help of a few friends, the remaining bugs are getting worked out. According to my estimates, the project is ahead of schedule as far as services are concerned. Currently, the project is hosting about 10 domains with success.
My health is progressing well, and can just about walk straight. The next step is running; then skating.
This year is zooming by. I can't believe that the halfway point is nearing. Pretty soon, people will be saying 2004 is almost over.
Time must slow down.
