Yes, I Do
I hate Halloween. Just in case you were wondering.

The newest LoungePunk logo has been birthed. Now it just needs to be digitally remastered.
So it is not the best diet plan; however, it is pretty tasty. And this is coming from a guy that really doesn't like beer or sweets.
Spent most evening at my friend Jerry's house. I was helping him set up his network. He is now set up to host a few web servers... he has three open IPs. I think I just might snag one.
Template Design is the component of SignIQ where you design your own individualized templates. A template is the area where fields, text, shapes and graphics are inserted, drawn and arranged to create signs, labels, price tickets, posters, name tags etc. The number and variety of templates you can design and print with SignIQ is limited only by your imagination.
California is burning. There is fire on all sides. The ash is falling like snow. The sky is hazy.
And still... life carries on just like it did before the fires; just like it did the day of Nine-Eleven. What does it take to make America stop and act like something is happening around us.
It makes me ill that too few care and even fewer act. I live in a cage with trained rats. Just keep chasing the cheese; don't mind the trap.
Just go here and vote for your favorite friend, Merc.
Happy birthday to my little brother, Michael; and my favorite Canadian, Shupe!
We had a nice group of people over for dinner. It was very nice. Perfect sized crowd and a perfect mix of people with a perfect meal.
My birthday is tomorrow. I will be 25 years old.
I can't help but to think about where the time has gone. I have been out of high school for six years. I have had thirteen jobs and four cars. I have been married for over a year, and been living in the OC for two years.
What will the next 25 years bring?
Today... and the next few days, I am a technical writer. I am going to be writing the features document for our software suite. Estimated to be 100+ pages.
Another hot day. When will it end? It is nearing the end of October; there should be no heat left in the sun.
Where are you, Winter?
Don't you wish that today was a holiday?
After the hot day, I managed to stay in bed until 11. This is a miracle for me. I have a hard time sleeping until 8... and an impossible time staying in bed until 9.
I love lazy, restful days.
Spent the whole day at Disney's California Adventure with my boss, Ben, and Manda. It was good times. It is always fun to take people to a new place.
My only complaint is that it was too hot.
It was just another Friday. A slow and lazy day. Motivation left hours before the bodies.
I spent most the day in the car... and the rest of the time, I spent in Mexico.
I have been to Mexico a lot in my life, but I have never been to TJ. It was interesting. First off, I have never driven into Mexico. I used to walk across the border. The I-5 simply continues on into Mexico. Downtown TJ was odd. Tons of people, wild driving... it was a bit overwhelming. I have been away from the Border for too long. I had almost forgotten the major cultural differences. I am not talking about burritos here. It is strange to have something be so close and so different.
I will sleep good tonight.
Have you ever tried to format anything in that god-forsaken program? It is a mind-destroying piece of crap design by Satan himself... and this is my censored opinion on the subject.
After weeks (2 weeks) of testing, I have discovered that it is true. Shell does give you better gas mileage. Below are the results of my testing. I will be switching to Shell after years and years of using nothing except Chevron.
Shell: 331.4 Miles
Chevron: 291.1 Miles
We went "home" to Tulare this weekend. I miss the people, but not the smell. It just smelled like cow everywhere... nasty.
We rented a truck, 2003 Chevy Silverado. While I still hate Chevy, I am in love with trucks. I would trade my little Neon in for a truck instantly. I have my eye on the new Ford F-150.
Max, my friend, is staying with us for a few nights. Looking at moving to SoCal. He is checking out places from LA to San Diego. I really hope that he finds something.
The sun is out this morning... and it is a rare thing. I have not seen the sun until about noon for the past two weeks or so. It is a nice change.
For those of you that don't know, my office is on the fifth floor over looking the John Wayne International airport. It is just awesome to look out and see the planes land and take off. It is something that is on the list of inspiring things to see... kinda like the ocean.
Fate, the crutch of our generation. The false belief that no matter what decision is made, or not made; it will take us where we should be.
The belief in an effortless destiny is too common. It is to the point where, I feel, people are missing their true destiny. There is this ill satisfaction with mediocrity. Satisfaction should come from battling every second of your life to get what you want.
Fate is the finish line, not the race. It is what our lives are when we get there. Create your fate; don't accept where you randomly end up.
I am reading a book about marketing. We are all just puppets. Page after page about how we are manipulated into making a purchase. It is almost scary... I kinda wonder if we make any decisions on our own.
I am the only one in the office this week. Everyone else is out traveling. I get a lot more work done when everyone is out... but it sure is quiet. I need to remember to bring in some CD's.
Beyond what is normal or usual. Beyond or out of the common order or method; not usual, customary, regular, or normal. Not conforming with, adhering to, or constituting a norm, standard, pattern, level, or type. Beyond known standards.
I think we all knew it would happen.
I had a great and fanastic three-day weekend. I did nothing but have fun and relax. Went to Disneyland and watched at least 5 movies.
Finally got to see Bionicle... and it was as good as I expected so I was very happy. I am looking forward to seeing more Bionicle movies in the future.
I also got to see the Two Towers. Very good. I think Lord Of The Rings is going to be the best trilogy ever made. I hope it also influences the movie industry to think into the future about making sequels.
The horrible pain about being me, I care. You can't tell me that I need to, or I will tell you that I don't. In the end, I care. I care about a lot of things and a lot of people.
Caring is the good part. The bad part is the amount of space that it takes up in my head. I need a vacation. I need to get away, so I can come back and get on top. I don't want to stop caring. I want to care more effectively.
Merc's birthday is coming up... and if you don't know what to get the frog that has everything, here is the list:
MxPx Skate Deck
Silkscreen Press
New Skates
Skimboard
The day is gone. I blinked and it was gone.
