Litestep: Since I am putting most my projects on hold until 2002, I think I am going to learn Litestep once again. I really enjoyed having multiple desktops to work with. It also ran faster... which is something that would be nice until I can get a new computer (which will be a notebook).
It os only 8 and it feels like midnight. I think I need to get away from the keyboard and think for a bit. I am being consumed by information.
I was going to take some pictures today... however, the rain prevents it. It is wet and cold out there. Very nice to look at, but not so neat to stand out in. I might wonder around the office and snap a few photographs.

Music: This is a silly little song that my roommate found... and this is the creek behind my work. Me and my camera spend a lot of time out there. I have shot at least 4 rolls of film since I started working. I shot at least a roll just trying to get a single picture of a dragonfly. Heh. Anyway...
Inspiration: When my creativity and mental strength is running low, it is places like this that I run to. I am in awe of the smallest and simplest details of nature. And while nature is there all the time... sometimes, I just have to stop and look at it... and feel it. It brings me back into that spot where problems have solutions... and life has a purpose.
Future: I am trying to keep my eye on the future... and take every advantage that I can. Right now, I am enjoying life... but I have a fear in the back of my head. I am scared that I am going to let my future slip away. It is not keeping me up at night; however, it is making me think... which is good. It is nearing the time for required action: GET BACK IN SCHOOL. I am trying to simplify my goal list down to: eat, sleep, pay the bills, go to school. My goal to start school in the fall... and in the mean while... save the money to make it possible.
Sleep? Ha.

Busy... busy... and cold. I am working on a lot of projects... and signs of progress will be coming soon.
I had a great Thanksgiving. It was very relaxing even though I did not sleep much. Thank you, Tony and Lucy. I had a fantastic time... I even liked the turkey.
And... this is cool.

Time seems to be crawling by today. I hate it when that happens.
There was not a lot to do here at work. The holidays are just like that. No one needs anything done... they are just planning on a nice little vacation. Most businesses around are closed on Friday as well as Thanksgiving day. I expect that Monday will be killer busy.
Morning comes so very fast. I swear that I just closed my eyes and then my alarm went off. I am so looking forward to this weekend. I am going to do nothing... four beautiful days of nothing (and eating). I just cannot wait.

I think I have fixed everything. MF.com seems to be runnign strong at its new location.
I also put a hold on this project. I will be working on it in the background and it will be released the first of the year.
Lots of cleaning up going on around here. Things will be back to normal soon.
I am getting the site back in order. Please alert me of all bugs.
Be sure to let me know if your site is all together missing. Heh heh. Oops.

This site has a unique design feel that I am really digging. It contains good design and good content... it is not very often that you get both. I am seeing more and more 'eye candy' site with no content at all. And... as usually, there are the ten million ugly sites.
I am up too late... good thing that I can sleep in tomorrow. Got to love Saturdays.

Sleep does a body good... as does a warm shower... a good breakfast... and a cup of coffee.
I have a list of things to do today... and thank goodness that laundry is not one of them. However, folding the laundry is on the list. Ick.

I keep staring at my monitor... but nothing is happening. I either need coffee or to go to sleep... but I am waiting for my laundry to dry.

I just found this to be too entertaining. Exploding Dog is a very cool site (and maybe a little warped). I found it a long time ago and forgot about it until Hal posted his drawings. Ollie used to have art posted... what happened?
This is where Merc is hanging out these days. Sign up and roam around. It is a nice place for developers.
I am typing up a resume... and will be designing over the next couple of days. I really like designing resumes... I ought to start a business doing it... hmm... now there is an idea.

Yesterday: I had the most awesome time. I got to go see a movie screening at Paramount Studios of Jimmy Neutron. It will be released in about 2 or 3 weeks... and it is more than worth seeing. So very funny.
Tonight: I will be working on the last of DevNIC... I am getting a late start... so I will more than likely not finish.

Last night, I went over to Ong's for tacos... yummy. I miss home cooked food. I am going to have to start cooking more... or at least some. Also, watched the movie 'Hook' last night. I forgot how good it was. It was a fun evening... just hanging out and having fun.

I blogged last night, but blogger rejected it. I guess it wasn't a very good blog. Also last night, I just hung out and watched a few movies... Final Fantasy and Quick Change. Both good, but not great movies.

Question: Any designers that would be interested in a location where you could download templates created in high-end design programs... Illustrator, PageMaker, InDesign, Photoshop, and Quark? If so drop me an e-mail. I create these template all the time... and I have a bunch of them... I am thinking of creating a download location just for my own use, but I would be willing to make it available to the public. I might have to put a word into Eddie... or make it part of LP.

Why am I not asleep?
Long day. I learned more than I could soak in tonight. InDesign 2.0 is going to be the best piece of software on the market for design and layouts. It was just awesome. The seminar went pretty much like this... "Can it... ?"... "Yes." I saw nothing that the program was lacking.
Also did a little work tonight... based on a napkin sketch that I did at the seminar.
I am going into work early today... and then I am going to a seminar for InDesign 2.0... so it is going to be a long day. If I get home before midnight, it will be amazing. I am kinda tired... but still looking forward to this.

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
The weekend was really good. I got done just about everything that I needed too... and had some good relaxing fun.
I got my car washed... and yes, it rained the next day. I don't know how or why that happens, but... it just always does. Next time that I am in the mood for rain, I think I am going to go wash my car... might work. It seems to all the other times.

Happy weekend. I will be quite busy today... or least that is the plan. I need to go get my oil changed in my car... as well as get it washed. I need to buy from food for the week... get some film developed. And for fun... I am going to go to Disneyland and then to a concert this evening. In between, I am going to put a little time in the WercShop and see what comes out.
