After responding to over 60 e-mail messages, I can now do a decent blog. E-mail while being cool is evil. I love getting e-mail from people that I like... or at least people I know. I hate junk e-mail. I didn't check my e-mail for 3 days and I get a mounting pile of 134 pieces of crap mail. Grr... anyway.

The Weekend

Overall: It was awesome. I know I had said this already, but in a nut shell that is what it was. Great people, places, and food... and a little bit of beer.

Friday: Wiz, IP, and I drove down to OC (not LA) to chill with Ong and stay at her home there. I was beyond tired and crashed like a total stick in the mud. I simply could not stay awake... so Ong, Wiz, and IP went to The Block At Orange... they may have taken RubyRose, but... I was asleep so I have no idea. From what I hear, they had fun and what not.

Saturday: I got up at the butt crack of dawn (7am on a Saturday) with Ong. Helped her pack her car. She had a 'fun' film shoot to go to ALL day. You can ask her about the horrors of her day. Anyway... IP, Wiz, and I (the boys) went to the RC shop in Anaheim Hills at about 9.30a. Please note that they do not open until 11a. Therefore, the boys went to Fry's Electronics — which is just a cool place. At about 11a, we go back to the RC shop, which is still closed... so we called Ollie. Ollie was not quite all there at the time we called and gave the very detailed instruction of 'go south'. Heh heh. Two hours later and many cell calls, we ended up at Ollie's place.

Ollie's art is at least a hundred times better in person than on his site. The colors and texture just cannot compare. If I can not talk him into letting go of a piece... I may have to umm...borrow one (joke).

Ollie took us to a place or area of San Diego called PB (I think that is Pacific Beach). We enjoyed the weather, the beach, and a good meal at Nick's. After chilling and talking for a while, we all headed down to OB (Ocean Beach) to hang out with pb.

I finally got to meet Lisa, pb's girl. I have seen her and had lunch with the whole CC mass last time I was down in CC, but didn't get a chance to meet her. Lisa and pb are a cute couple... with a cute dog as well.

After hanging at the beach and drinking a few beers, we headed up to pb's house... where we got the two musicians together — pb and IP. I love the guitar. I could listen to someone play all day... maybe i should learn to play a little, huh? I guess I could learn now.. since I just produced a guitar instructional video, huh. Anyways... IP and pb rocked.

Sunset: For the first time in my life, I watched the sun disappear into the Pacific Ocean. I never realized that a) it was so beautiful... I was told it was not even a 'good one', and b) it would happen so fast. The sun was up... then it was gone. Awesome. I am going to try to talk pb into sending me a picture of it.

I do not recall what time we left pb's house... we had a fun and challenging time finding the 5 North... the challenge was seeing through my completely smudged windshield. Somehow... heh heh... we ended up at The Block at Orange to have dinner with Eddie and Ash. Eating at the Block is always a good thing.

I think we got back to the around midnight... and I think I passed out (fell alseep) at about 1a with IP, Wiz, and Ong still talking in the room. It was a LONG, LONG day... but awesome the whole time. Great friends and conversation... all day long and into the night.

Special thanks to Ollie, pb, and Lisa for show us a GREAT time in SD.

Sunday: I woke up at about 7a and just sort stared at the ceiling and relaxed. It was a slow moving day... we didn't do much of anything... watched a movie, showed IP Cal State Fullerton, and ate. The most exciting thing about the day was that I got my arm signed by Irina, the dead hooker, from Ong's film.

Wiz and I had a few good conversation on the long trip home... which brings me up to today.

Today: Long, warm day at work. We had a long production meeting... it is going to be a busy week at work.
